Grace Lutheran of Barber was organized May 3, 1911 by a student pastor, O. T. Floodberg. The Methodists built a church in Barber in 1917, and this building was used by both Methodists and Lutherans until 1927 when the Lutherans bought the building and the Methodists moved to Ryegate.
